Our project begins with a thorough inspection to assess the condition of the Danieli-Henschel PTC1230-H packaging machine on site in Sweden. Through a comprehensive assessment, Thomas Stadie determines the exact repair requirements to ensure optimal performance.

Efficient coordination is paramount to the success of this project. Thomas Stadie coordinates every aspect to ensure a seamless workflow and timely completion. Highly skilled technicians, knowledgeable in the intricacies of metal recycling machinery, are assigned to perform the repair tasks with precision and expertise. Thomas Stadie emphasizes on sourcing high-quality spare parts to meet the specifications of the Danieli-Henschel PTC1230-H baling machine and ensure a long service life. Thomas Stadie will carefully monitor the entire repair process, adhering to strict quality standards.

Once the repair work has been completed, a thorough final inspection is carried out to check the functionality of the packaging machine. We ensure that all requirements are met before carrying out a revision acceptance.

The repair work will include replacing the complete wear plates to improve durability and efficiency as well as replacing the seals on all cylinders to prevent leaks and optimize performance.

Implementation is planned for April 2024. The project is expected to be completed within one month to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

With our commitment to excellence and expertise in metal recycling machinery solutions, we guarantee outstanding results for the Danieli-Henschel PTC1230-H packaging machine. Rely on our expertise to achieve exceptional results tailored to your needs.

Further pictures of the project will follow after completion.

Lying three-column press, cylinder accommodation, tool holder and pressure piece are designed in a welded construction and they are connected via three columns

The tool holder is floating.

The chip supply takes place via the side with the tool holder

bolted feed.

Main and feed cylinders are with an internal our outside analog distance measurement.

The chip quantity can be regulated by changing the stroke on the feed cylinder. Regulation takes place via the controller. Supplied chip quantities and

the high of the briquette is registered by means of distance measurement and the controller reacts automatically to changes in the high of briquette by adjusting the

Chips amount.

Technical Data

Repairs performed:

  • We completely renovated the shear head and slide in December 2020.

  • The tamper and the tamper frame in March 2021.

  • The pinball machines in August 2021 the two flipper cylinders were changed in August 2021 the two rods and the rings of the shear lowering cylinders were also changed in March 2022 as well as the shear raise cylinder.

  • This machine produces approximately 20 ton hours.

  • 6 motor pump groups.

  • there are also parts to detach (blades, new pressure collector, cylinder tube, reassemble the packer)

The  CIC  AKROS  HENSCHEL  type  shears  are  automatic  shears,  with  continuous  operation.

The  basic  principle  is  that  of  inclined  shears,  present  on  the  market  for  many  years,  but  it  has  been  greatly  improved  by  reducing  the  slope  of  the  loading  corridor,  and  by  introducing  a  system  of  oriented  vibrations  to  "push"  the  scrap  metal  towards  the  shearing  head.

Operation  is  continuous,  and  loading  the  shears  is  particularly  easy.  The  productions  are therefore  important.

This  range  of  shears  being  easier  to  maintain  than  traditional  shears,  the  cost  per  tonne  produced  is  very  competitive.

After  selecting  automatic  operation,  operation  is  continuous,  without  intervention,  the  only  operation  being  loading.

The  scrap  metal  being  loaded,  the  cycle  takes  place  continuously  as  follows:

- Vibration  of  the  floor  and  advance  of  the  scrap  to  the  crosspiece

-  Lateral reduction  by  the  flippers

-  Densification and  maintenance  of  the  scrap  by  descent  of  the  stepped  packer

-  Shearing

- Raising  the packer  and  shears

-  Reopening  of the  flippers.

This  cycle  renews  automatically,  without  operator  intervention.  The  latter  is  therefore  only  dedicated  to  powering  the  machine.

The  corridor  can  be  loaded  at  any  time,  without  timing  since  the  corridor  is  permanently  open.

Downtime  is  thus  reduced,  and  the  effective  shearing  time  is  optimized.

This  allows  CIC  shears  to  achieve  higher  production  than  traditional  shears  (20  to  30%),  with  less  installed  power  and  significantly  less  wear  on  the  metal  sheets.

The  removal  of  the  loading  bucket  and  the  absence  of  a  push  cylinder  significantly  reduce  the  dimensions  of  the  CIC  shears,  making  them  easier  to  install  on  construction  sites.

Switching  to  manual  mode  operation  can  be  made  at  any  time,  to  reduce  and  shear  particular  bulky  products.

Indexing:  The  vertical  movement  of  the  shearing  slide  can  be,  for  certain  categories  of  treated  waste,  linked  to  the  travel  of  the  packing  slide.  This  function  makes  it  possible  to  reduce  the  lost  stroke  of  the  shearing  slide  and  thus  optimize  productivity  gains.
